About me

I am Sameer, PhD from Princeton University – I recently graduated from Prateek Mittal’s group. I will be joining the RISE Lab as a postdoctoral researcher soon.

My research spans a range of problems in the areas of privacy enchancing technologies, with a common thread to make these technologies practical and deployed within our current digital infrastructure. Specifically, I focus on problems in applied cryptography and privacy-preserving analytics such as multi-party computation, homomorphic encryption, differential privacy. Before joining Princeton, I spent 4 wonderful years at IIT Madras, graduating with B.Tech. with Honors in Engineering Physics.
